It is expected that by 2025, millennials will make up 75% of the workforce. This college–educated generation brings with it different financial stressors which are often carried over into the workplace. According to PwC’s 2015 Employee Financial Wellness Survey, 22% of millennials report that their personal finances have become a distraction while at work. Moreover, 37% of millennials say they spend three or more hours per week thinking about or dealing with their financial issues while at work. And according to a 2014 Wells Fargo Millennial Study, 29% cite paying of their student loans as their top financial concern, the largest concern of all.
To help employees better focus on company goals while in the workplace, the EDvestinU® Lunch and Learn Program offers businesses the opportunity to help educate employees about student loan repayment. During this informative workshop, our knowledgeable staff discuss federal and private student loan refinancing, available repayment plans, as well as potential loan forgiveness options.
This program is offered at no cost to your company or the employee and can be scheduled to meet your organization’s needs. By offering this program, your employees are given tools to successfully navigate student loan repayment and hopefully, be relieved of some of the stress that often accompanies student loan debt.
