Concord, NH — The Board of Trustees of Granite State Management & Resources (GSM&R) announces the promotion of Chief Information Officer Jason Golden to fill a newly created position as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
“Jason is a natural fit for the COO position. He is well respected and truly understands the business, the environment and the people that make the organization capable of achieving its highest goals for the future,” said GSM&R board chair, Mr. Neil Joyce. “As the landscape of the financial services and higher education industries grow and change, Jason will take responsibility for delivering results on a day–to–day, quarter–to–quarter basis; leading the management team, improving internal operations and implementing our strategic plan.”

Mr. Golden joined Granite State in March of 2002 as the Information Services (IS) Operations Manager. As Vice President and CIO, he was tasked with establishing and implementing secure and stable technical strategies to enhance business operations. IS Operations, Software Development, Web Services, Information Security, Project Management, Customer & Loan Services, Servicing Risk Management, and Facilities departments report to him. Prior to joining GSM&R, he served as the Network Operations Center Manager for a world class application service provider and 24/7 data center. Mr. Golden is an Air Force and Gulf War Veteran with more than 20 years of combined business and technical experience.
GSM&R also announces the promotions of: Anthony McBee, former AVP of Information Services to Vice President, Information Services, Nikole Twombly, AVP, Servicing Risk Management to Vice President, Loan Services, and Michelle Phillips, former Manager, Servicing Risk Management to AVP, Servicing Risk Management.
GSM&R’s current senior management team includes:
